The Consortium is pleased to announce the appointment of two new directors to help build on the success they achieved in 2011.
Matt Palmer joins The Consortium as Sales Director from Findel Education, bringing with him a wealth of relevant sales experience not only from his role at Findel, but also from 5 years spent with specialist Distribution company Premier Farnell. In his new role at The Consortium, Matt will be developing a sales strategy with effective account management at its heart. He will ensure that The Consortium’s ever more extensive range of products and services is appropriately presented to its customers. John Kershaw, moves from Head of Category Management at The Consortium to take on the role of Marketing and Merchandising Director. With extensive senior management experience, he will be overseeing the company’s buying and marketing strategies, including the ongoing development of their catalogue and web channels.
The Consortium’s tried and trusted Buying Made Easy formula depends on effective sales and marketing strategies which respond to changing customer needs. These appointments will ensure the continuous development of the formula, allowing the business to secure further market share growth from its key Education, Care & Early Years markets.
