The Consortium recently hosted a visit from a Chinese delegation looking for inspiration for their new school in China.
The delegation visited the UK for a week to find out about the education resources used in schools and see examples of innovative and successful learning environments.
The visitors included the programme director responsible for developing the new international school in Changzhou in China, as well as a representative from the Changzhou Education Bureau. They met with staff from The Consortium responsible for educational furniture and project managing major school refurbishments.
The Consortium also arranged for the delegation to visit some of their customers, including 3 primary schools in Plymouth, 2 secondary schools in Essex and a nursery in Taunton. In Essex, the delegation toured William de Ferres School’s brand new sixth form building, furnished by The Consortium. They explored the state of the art facilities including an engineering suite, a dance studio and other dedicated classrooms for use by sixth formers.
Matt Palmer, Sales Director at The Consortium commented “The delegation were very impressed by what they saw and certainly gathered lots of new ideas for their international school in China. I’d like to thank our customers for taking the time to share their knowledge and expertise.”
